RummyIndex Privacy Policy

Detailed overview of what RummyIndex collects on a static site: hosting logs, optional analytics, cookies, emails to support, and what happens when you visit third-party operators.

RummyIndex is published primarily as a static website. There are no player accounts, on-site wallets, or mandatory sign-ups required to read rankings, app profiles, blogs, or legal pages.

Who we are

RummyIndex operates the Site at rummyindex.com as an editorial directory. For privacy questions specific to this policy, email support@rummyindex.com.

Information we may process

1) Hosting & server logs.
Our hosting provider (and any CDN in front of the Site) may automatically log technical data such as IP address, request timestamps, URLs requested, user-agent strings, referrer headers, and coarse geo derived from network data. These logs support security, abuse detection, and reliability.

2) Optional analytics.
If a measurement ID is configured (for example Google Analytics 4), the chosen provider may set cookies or similar technologies and process aggregated usage statistics. Measurement can remain disabled until an ID is supplied in site configuration. When enabled, follow the provider’s controls for opt-out and data retention.

3) Cookies and local storage.
Apart from analytics cookies (when enabled), the Site may use minimal storage for UI preferences or caching consistent with normal browser behavior. We do not operate a logged-in cookie banner because we do not run accounts; nevertheless, your browser can block third-party cookies globally.

4) Emails you send us.
If you contact support@rummyindex.com, we process your message content, headers (including address), and attachments solely to respond and keep an internal record of the conversation if needed. We do not sell email contents or rent inboxes to third parties.

5) Search on the Site.
If a client-side search index is loaded, queries may remain on your device or be processed locally in the browser depending on implementation. We do not correlate local search keystrokes with personal accounts because we do not operate accounts.

Where GDPR-style concepts apply, we rely on legitimate interests (secure operation, editorial support inbox) and, where relevant, consent for optional analytics cookies as implemented by your browser settings and any provider controls. Logs are retained for a limited window dictated by hosting defaults unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse.

Third-party destinations (operators)

When you tap an outbound link to a rummy operator, that company’s privacy policy governs everything they collect: marketing IDs, device graphs, verification documents, payment metadata, support transcripts, and fraud analytics. RummyIndex cannot access or delete data held by those operators.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • Infrastructure vendors strictly necessary to deliver the Site (hosting, DNS, analytics if enabled).
  • Authorities if required by valid legal process and only to the extent compelled.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate for a static editorial site. No online transmission is perfectly secure; email in particular is not a confidential channel.

Children

The Site is intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, contact support@rummyindex.com so we can delete non-legally-required content.

International transfers

Your visit may be served from data centers or CDNs in multiple regions depending on hosting configuration. Provider terms describe cross-border safeguards.

Your choices

  • Block or delete cookies via browser settings.
  • Email us to correct obvious factual errors tied to a message you sent (we are not an operator data controller for player accounts).
  • Avoid submitting sensitive personal data in email unless necessary.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect new integrations (for example analytics), hosting moves, or regulatory guidance. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page with a new revision narrative; continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
